Every Fleeting Moment

This is it. The day we were born began our final countdown.

“On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.” – Fight Club

It doesn’t matter if we’re ‘wasting life away’ according to someone else’s standards.

If we reach our deathbed with regret there’s no one to blame but ourselves.

We’re accountable only to the person that lives in our skull. It’s our life to live or to squander.

There’s no cause for comparison with our peers. No metric to optimize that will help us win over another.

We can attempt to love every fleeting moment of our one and only life or try to uphold the standards that others prescribe. The choice is ours.
