When shooting a portrait of [Brian Gardner](http://briangardner.com) what better place to shoot than his second home, Starbucks. If you’re familiar with WordPress and the Genesis Framework then you’re surely very familiar with Brian. He’s the founder of [StudioPress](http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?B=241369&U=403579&M=28169&urllink=), Partner of Copyblogger Media, a self-confessed [Starbucks addict](http://instagr.am/p/OrB8U/) and an all-around great guy.

Being that we’re both based out of Chicago me, Brian, and [Rafal](http://www.rafaltomal.com/) all meet up every so often to hang and talk ‘shop.’ I always arrive at Starbucks with my laptop in hand, but this time I also brought along the 5D Mark II. Here’s a few shots from our impromptu portrait shoot.
